LogiTower automated rack for sheet metal storage in the HVAC industry

For a smooth material flow in the production hall, the automated LogiTower system for sheet metal is positioned within working range of the column crane. The transport of the metal sheets, used in the manufacture of boilers, for further processing in the laser is carried out by suction cups. To maximise the storage capacity, the company decided to uncover part of the ceiling and build the racking to the height of another floor. In this way, it was possible to store as much as 60 tonnes of metal sheets in a small space, ensuring easy and ergonomic access to each item.
