Automated storage and feeding of metal sheets for cutting processes on a laser cutting machine

The solution implemented in the Hautec production hall enables an automated material flow from picking up raw material from the feed table, to picking up the sheet metal for the laser cutter, to depositing the sheet metal with the cut-outs onto the stocking table. Changing material in the cutting machine takes just a few tens of seconds, eliminating downtime on the cutting machine and allowing for increased precision and speed in machining processes. Maximising the potential of the laser takes place with minimal human labour, whose role remains to control the entire process.
